Wear and maintenance of pump impeller |
The cause of the problem
Water pump inlet water quality is poor. (high impurity content)
(2) faucet filter or water horn from the sediment is too close or placed in the sediment.
(3) bad transmission medium, impeller material selection is not appropriate.
(4) pump impeller nut often or long time loose, resulting in impeller loose and partial wear.
(5) the pump often work in cavitation, increased the degree of cavitation damage pump.
The maintenance method
(1) check the water inlet water quality of the pump, in view of the inspection situation, the use of well cleaning (suggested to use air compressor or other machines and tools), the installation of fence fence and other measures to improve the water inlet quality. To ensure effective reduction of water sediment content (generally, the volume ratio of sediment content in well water should not be greater than 0.02%) and debris content.
(2) drive up or lift the pump faucet, water horn, make it leave the sediment. In general, the distance from the bottom of the well should be more than 1 meter, not less than 0.5 meters.
(3) open the pump body, check the clearance of the sealing ring, the installation position of the impeller and the installation quality (whether the impeller's positioning key is running, whether the lock nut is falling off or loose, and whether the clearance between the impeller and the pump shell meets the requirements, etc.), and repair, adjust or replace it as the case may be. Finally, reassemble the pump correctly as required. When assembling the pump, the installation accuracy of the pump must be guaranteed.
(4) open the pump pump body, check the impeller wear and fixed conditions, the user needs to replace wear-resistant material impeller, to extend the life of the impeller.
(5) eliminate cavitation factors, improve anti-cavitation performance, and as appropriate to reduce the pump installation height (to correctly calculate the installation height of the pump).
